This policy explains how cardata (cardata.hu) handles personal data when you contact us or book a pre purchase car inspection. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to provide the service.
What we collect
When you make an enquiry or booking we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the vehicle you are interested in, its location, and any message you send. We collect this only to arrange and carry out the inspection and to send you the report.
How we use it
Your information is used to contact you, to arrange access to the vehicle with the seller, to perform the inspection, and to deliver your report. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it beyond what is necessary to provide the service you requested.
The inspection report
Your inspection report is prepared for you. For the Digital Report Package, the report and its photographs and video are sent to the email address you provide. Please keep your copy secure once you receive it.
Retention
We keep enquiry and booking records only as long as necessary for the service and for legitimate business and legal purposes, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where there is no overriding reason to retain it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@cardata.hu.
